Seo, how about filing an earthquake report?

I thought the epicenter was in my living room at first. There was a pretty good rumble initially, which stopped my cat dead in her tracks as she was walking across the floor, and then the windows started rattling and my book and CD shelves started swaying, which sent my cat bolting into my room and under the bed like a flash. I thought all 3 of those shelves were gonna topple for sure, but it slowed down and stopped before they did.

Turns out it was centered about 15 miles away or so, so the 5.0 felt a little rougher. I bought a new "Last Supper" Jesus clock for $5 bucks at a thrift store and it fell from the wall, but thank God didn't break. I had a couple of pictures fall off the wall that did break and some assorted crap roll off the coffee table and from atop the TV that were fine.

Last quake, I was at a diner with big windows and it was a rolling one. You could see it. It was dreamy and kinda neat. The peeps behind the counter held on, it passed, people clapped (!?!), and then we all finished our eggs.

This one was a little rougher. First time I've ever headed for a doorway, cause after serious earthquakes, all you see are doorways everywhere, you know.

Eek!

Thanks for the report, and I'm glad you're ok.

Any aftershocks, your first priority should be Johan Santana.

Johan's always my first priority.

Mass-produced Jesus kitsch is never far from God's heart.

Thanks all. If you saw this clock, you'd not mock my concern over it. It's super cool.

My ceramic all-black-Jesus-and-apostles Last Supper frieze-- all the sculpted faces look the same; it's like a latter-day Eddie Murphy movie where he plays 30 different fat people-- is one of my most prized possessions, all the more for having got got for 7 bones. Respect.

Speaking of bones... glad yours remain intact, sirrah.

Glad you made it through, Seo. How did the lady from Down Under manage?

She's trekking through Brazil at the moment, so she (un?)fortunately missed out.

That kind of camp is the only feature of Christianity that appeals to this Jew.
