Yikes. Most stomach viruses seem to go away in 24 hours or so. I wonder what's up?

I says it before, and I'll says it again: nobody ever expressly said Beltran DIDN'T have dysentery.

Or swine flu. They haven't ruled that out either.

You don't quite know how correct you are.

My guess is it was Chris Carlin. He's the most swinelike employee of SNY that I can think of.

Am I drunk, or is it a little bit early for a LGM?

(No, wait. I'm drunk and it's a little bit early.)

If someone mentions a no hitter after two innings, and it happens, then what?

Swan Swan H
Jun 02 2009 05:30 PM

Just trying to inspire the one run of support Santana will need to register his league-leading eighth victory.

Holy crap. I was JUST thinking about that hypothetical, in-no-way-referential-of-tonight's-game-in-specific situation.

Also, I was just thinking that the first Met no-hitter would likely come on a night after a demoralizing loss, midweek, at an away park.

It's never too early.....LGM works even in December , it's best expressed when the winter meetings commence.

Jun 02 2009 05:40 PM

Hokey smokes, a beauty of a backhand-stop-jump-throw by Castillo on the not slow Jack Wilson. That's the sort of thing you need to do what KC is referring to, but I shall not mention.

Kong76
Jun 02 2009 05:42 PM

Can we do like an out countdown or something or would that be
pushing the envelope?

Swan Swan H
Jun 02 2009 05:43 PM

Meanwhile, a rolling Moss gathers Wright's bloop down the RF line. The next run you hear may not happen for quite some time.

LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr
Jun 02 2009 05:44 PM

Duke's always been decent against us (3-1 in 5 starts, 3.62 ERA). And this year, he's actually pitching a decent potch in general.

That would have been a Gold Glove play there.

Jeremy Reed: Prolly not worth 5 guys but the best booty in that deal, maybe.

Yeah, but they like to bat him third sometimes, just for shits and giggles, when Joe Maddon's drunk.

That stupid book that no one has ever seen. What gets me though is the likes of Keith and Ron say that Manuel is "unconventional" and thinks "outside the box".

I don't see it.

Is Beltran out with some sort of flu or virus or have we moved to the othopedic doctor with a knee?

Nicely turned, Jo y Wilson.

They tossed Morgan for the helmet slam? Jesus, if these umps came over for Thanksgiving at the LWFS house, their heads would asplode.

What a turn by Valdez, taking the low throw from Santana and doubling up Morgan. That's the third really good play tonight, and Fartinez damn near pulled off a fourth.
