Fine stuff. Lofty stuff.

Except when I picture Sean Green coming to work, I picture a motorcycle sidecar.

Very funny read.....is that a regular feature of that blog, because if it is then they have a new reader.

] 9:15: Omir Santos has begun selling T-Shirts out of my locker. My stuff is scattered all over the floor. I find my uniform and stash it in the equipment closet. I buy an Omir Santos T-Shirt.

Not so much... mostly analysis and para-analysis steeped in Fangraphs-y Ka-nowledge (most of the commentariat sneers at Cerrone) with only the occasional cartoon/humor piece.

If you're looking for nice statty backup for your vague feeling that Keith Hernandez should be in the HOF, for instance, or folk to commiserate with you about Ollie-over-Lowe (or Green over O'Day), it's a nice part of your daily Met breakfast.

Not to take too much away from this idea, which was well-developed and all, but isn't the issue to be skewered not Jerry's alleged hatred of Stokes but the Mets' overinvestment in the illusion of Putz "owning" the 8th inning?

Hence

]J.J. adds, "I agree, for rap is a respected genre of music that I often enjoy." That's weird. He told me the other day he hates rap. They wait for me to leave. I'll ask him tomorrow.
and
]Jerry brings Putz in, even though he wasn't warming up.

Puts me in mind of two very funny back-to-back posts from two years ago via Mets Are Better Than Sex here[/url:3cz0jern] and here[/url:3cz0jern]. Funny how time flies vis-a-vis some of the characters mentioned within and how, in terms of their Metsness, they are now without.
