****** sent you photos on Tagged :)

So we've been getting these emails from a former poster that says they
sent photos and if you want to see them you have to click and if you don't
respond ****** may think you said no :-( -- it's worded kind of silly.

Anyone familiar with taggedmail.com ... I'm suspicious and don't want to
click on them. I emailed the sender inquiring if he's indeed sending the
emails (or initiating them I guess would be a better term) but haven't
received any response.

I got one of those today too, from my aunt.

Clicked through a dozen "offers" and "IQ tests" and then finally got to a page that told me my aunt hasn't uploaded any photos yet.

My aunt often sends me photo links, and I thought she had switched to a new service. Now, I guess, my e-mail address has been harvested and my spam will increase.

If you get one of these e-mails, just ignore it.

Glad I didn't bite, thanks.

I've gotten a bunch -- will ignore.

A Facebook friend of mine posted that people have received that notice from her, and to ignore it. She apparently Googled "Tagged," and got malware out of the search.

So it's going around. Delete the message if you get one (or several).

I got nothin'. I receive so little from just a small handful of close friends that I seldom even receive spam. Of course, MLB.com has tried to singlehandedly take care of the lack of email by spamming at least once a day. I'll never vote for the allstar game online again.

I got one from a fellow I used to write to from Mofo, that's it so far

I'm surprised that they (and the Mets and whatever team) get away with it.
I've literally unsubscribed to mail from MLB about two dozen times this year.
The Mets too. Some of the mail from the Mets falls under, "this is how we
communicate with plan holders." Fine, but I cannot stop the advertising and
it pisses me off.

It's worked with the Cabellas, Lands End, and Victoria Secret ... why not MLB?

I'm not an expert in CAN SPAM, but if you unsubscribe it should be permanent. I'm wondering what the loophole is.

Every time you visit the MLB sites, they find a way to sneakily get your consent to get you back on the spam list.
