I passed the exam for my general class amateur radio license.

KD5SBI though I currently am not operating due to our equipment all being in boxes.

Good to hear there are still people interested in ham radio, if only just to keep
it alive in some form. I never ventured into actually broadcasting, but was
always fascinated by a neighbor growing up who had the whole command
central set up in what would these days be called a man cave in his garage.

I was a short wave buff for about ten years. I used to drape a twenty-five
foot copper cable antennae all over the room, out windows, etc. just to pick
up a show from somewhere that I knew was in English but from the other
side of the world just because I could.

The internet kinda killed all the fun.

KC2QNZ-- largely for work purposes (I both work and volunteer for the Red Cross).
