I can't quite explain why, but when this thread reminded me of another Mets-Yankees clash today, I thought of this poem by Shel Silverstein: ]The Generals Said General Clay to General Gore, "Oh must we fight this silly war? I had never heard that name before Cabrera made the majors, but for all I know it's relatively common in the D.R. I thought it might be a nickname, but Baseball Reference lists it as Cabrera's full name.

Being out golfing I was forced to listen to Waldman and Sterling for most of this game. Boy are they suck. Good results though. I approve.
