Phillie is showing heart. It's 8-5 in the fifth, with two on, two out. Feliz just whiffed and Ruiz is now the tying run at the plate.

Ruiz singled, and Howard was held at third with two out. Maybe he should've gone for it-- Dobbs struck out to end the 5th. It remains 8-5. BTW... if you think we've got batting order issues, look west: does anyone know why Matt Kemp (.306/.369/.471) is batting eighth for the Dodgers? After an hour-and-a-half lighting failure delayed a Randy Wolf-Scott Feldman pitchers' duel, LA and Texas continue in the 6th, with the unstoppable Dodgers up, 1-0.

Kemp is actually batting 9th. Joe Torre has Furball (with his .639 OPS) in the #2 hole.

So, Omir Santos is one up on Shane Victorino, Ryan Howard and Raul Ibanez. Papelbon closes out an 11-6 Sox win (thanks, Terry Francona!) by buzzsawing the heart of the Phils' order (minus Utley's seeing-eye single).
