I am drunk 2000 miles from home in beautiful Shreveport, Louisiana on a work trip. No Mets games but lots of casinos and open bars. I see the score is 6-2 and I am confident that the Mets will be victorious. Geez, the Jays load the bases w/one out in the 8th vs the Phils down by a run ... then get a long line-drive to the warning track but Alex Rios doesn't tag from 3rd!!!! Next guy up grounds out to end the inning and the Phils still lead. I read about something else Rios did stupid just recently (forget the details). Talented guy but only occasionally matches up to what he seems like he could be.

Disappointing outing from Pelfrey overall. Cruised through the first 15 batters getting 14 of them out ... and then got only 2 of the next 9 hitters and his night was done. Nice job by Green settling things down after that and not making the game a 5 reliever affair.
