Brutal

Starting tonight, we are about to start the most brutal stretch of the schedule. Over the next few weeks we see: Tampa Bay (3 games) St. Louis (4 games) MFY's (3 games) Milwaukee (3 games) Pittsburgh (1 makeup game) Philadelphia (3 games) Dodgers (3 games) Twenty games total before finishing up the first half against Cincy. How many do they win? How many can you live with?

I'm not concerned with wins/losses necessarily, more the overall outlook at the end of the half. They're three back in the division, 1.5 back in the wild card. I just don't want to be in fourth place come July 16. But considering the Braves' schedule is worse than ours, and the Phillies are hurting too... I think this is the time to make a little run.

I don't worry about the schedule. Yes the Rays are hot and we know what the Dodgers did to us last time, but we could have very easily won each of the last three series and a few guys are due to bust out.
