When I saw the headline in the paper today that the Penguins won the Stanley Cup I was really surprised. I had no idea that the hockey playoffs were even going on, much less who was in them.

I live in Flyers territory and hockey used to get a whole lot more attention around here. Now it's all Eagles and Phillies. I think this is the first time I've ever been this completely unaware of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

I like it.

Sidney Crosby is proving to be the Derek Jeter of my hockey world. Max Talbot scores two goals, Malkin wins the Conn Smythe, Fleury makes a terrific save to seal the deal, and Crosby is getting all the ink for getting hurt. Good grief.

I saw a minute of the game when the score was two to zero, I meant to change over after the Mets win.......I forgot about it though.

Good for the Pens I suppose, good for Mario .

Could Lyle get a hockey helmet on over that hair?

She went to the parade yesterday. Sounds like she had a blast seeing the Stanley Cup in person

I think everybody should see their favorite sports team win it all at least once in their lifetime :)

Except Yankee fans age 8 and younger. They should all grow old and live lives of bitter disappointment.

Well, yeah, that's what I meant of course. And any new Red Sox fan, I'm sick to death of them.

My son was born 2 days after the Red Sox last World Series victory. I remember hanging out in the nursery with him and the other babies and thinking that it was one of the few places in New England where there was a room full of people who hadn't been alive when the Red Sox won the World Series.

Lyle Lovett would look awesome in an old-style pre-helmet days.
