cool beans.

I have some old Kirby prints of Asgardian characters. They were part of a portfolio he put out in the 70s (i think), but they're not numbered nor do they have original signatures. They're just remnants of my childhood.

Cool. I have a few original John Buscema Fantastic Four pages from around issue 110. (They were inked by Joe Sinnott.)

i've always thought my lack of original comic art was a major hole in my collecting obsession. Its just too expensive at this point.

Years ago, I saw an original Jack Kirby page for $400, and it was way beyond what I could afford.

More recently, I decided I was willing to spend that $400, but now those pages cost, last time I looked, over $3000.

The Buscema pages I have were purchased some time around 1990 and I got three pages for a total of $150.

I went to a Marvel Comics company Christmas party one year when I was maybe 13 or so - I used to babysit for somebody that worked there. John Buscema drew me a big Human Torch portrait and signed it.

No idea what ever happened to it.

I know. I loved that thing. My favorite artist, my favorite character.

So unlike me to have lost track of it. I'm quite the pack rat.
