Dale Bozzio?

Life is so strange
When you don't know
How can you tell
Where you're going to
You can't be sure
Of any situation
Something could change
And then you won't know

Fman mentioned was going off to Shreveport on business. I just googled his real name, "Shreveport" and "punch in the neck" and didn't find anything, so I guess his business isn't yet complete.

But he's been playing Scrabble this week. He Scrabbles, therefore he is.

According to facebook, fman got home 31 minutes ago. He should be here any minute.

Re: Joan Jett on Dale Bozzio

way too plodding.

The trinkly delicateness of the original is 88% of what makes it so awesome.

PS I saw Greg last night* and he didn't punch me in the neck or kick me in the cunt.

None of my beeswax, but I want to know if Valadius found that a girlfriend
is way more fun than us.

The cover was a glorious failure. I'll praise her for it even if I won't put it on high rotation.

I thought this thread was going to be about the little boy who disappeared on Long Island in 1955 while his mom was in the bakery.

Hasn't posted here in 12 days, since that "Release Castillo Now" thread.

Perhaps he was offended by the "cheese and crackers" quip? (Hard to imagine, but who knows?)

I'm pretty sure Fman is at the game today.

OE: Yup - from the 'Going to The Game' thread:

="Fman99":lq5dyi1b]Will be there for the Thursday matinee, section 521, with Fboy in tow. First trip to Citi Field for either of us. Barring a rainout we'll be seeing Chris Carpenter v. Johan Santana. Probably the two best pitchers in the National League this season going head to head.[/quote:lq5dyi1b]

O double E: Doh! Didn't realize this thread was a week old...

Speaking of Missing Persons and glorious 80s music, tonight I'm going to a concert headlined by ABC -- excellent! -- with Wang Chung, Cutting Crew and Tommy Tutone on the bill.

Tix started at $24 each, but now they're two for $20. Works for me! I'm all about cool 80s music.

Make sure you wear your Phillies cap and leave the Mets one at home. :)

ABC: Should still be making music.

Wang Chung: Sure, play the nastolgia circuit.

Cutting Crew: Should be called the Fart Cutting Crew.

Too many popups but a review of the NYC show here:

ABC -- which has always been Martin Fry and assorted friends -- actually is still making music, a new CD out this year that is headed to my house via Amazon. Not on iTunes, it's an import.

I can't imagine what other songs Cutting Crew can play. Was there even a second album out of them?

Sweet review! Thanks for sharing that.

So how come they get Berlin and we get Tommy Tutone?

G-Fafif and Fman were both indeed at the game today.

I was going to stick up for the Cutting Crew, but then I realized I was confusing them for Crowded House. Now if you were going to see Crowded House on a retro-tour, that would probably be pretty cool.

It was, although hardly retro. They reunited and put out a very good album a couple of years ago. Tour was quite good.

I knew the Brothers Finn were performing in various permutations but didn't realize that Crowded House came back together. As I said above, I expect it would be a good show.

Crazy-assed last fifteen minutes or so in the Spain/S. Africa game this

Don't feel bad, I posted for the first time in the soccer thread in the missing
persons thread and no one noticed.
