Not if the team that took the lead is the home team. (In short, the bottom of the inning becomes the de facto ninth inning.) I think the Marlins game may be official if they don't continue. From the Department of Holy F*&%*#g S&^t: Baltimore just made up a NINE-run seventh-inning deficit against the cream of the Boston pen (Delcarmen, Okajima, Saito, and Pap Smear) to violently cough up Smoltz' first Boston win. 11-10 Os in the 9th.

Yup! Baltimore puts up 5 in the 7th and 5 more in the 8th to make up the largest come-from-behind in club history.

Braves tack up 3 in the 8th (inc a 2R PH HR by G Anderson) to take a 5-2 lead and leaves them just one inning short of completing a sweep.

Waiting for the last out to be recorded in the MFY game. Two-run homer by Branyan in the top of the inning gave the M's an 8-4 lead.
