Infidelity is so pedestrian. I was expecting something more exciting from the spatial dislocation of the Appalachian Trail and Argentina. Like alien abduction for starters.

You know? Willets has something there. You have to know that your political career is over anyway as of today, right? So why not go for it? Go with the alien abduction. "I swear, I was out in the woods, and then BAM! Next thing I knew, I'm in a tango club with a half-naked woman named Juanita." Sure, you're exposed as crazy, but you're already a huge public embarrassment. How much lower can you really go?
