I have to show this to MK when he gets back from Fall Ball practice. He loves it when the IGT rosters have silly nicknames.

IG-IGT Kwiz.

Identify the following lyrics and tell me why I posted them:

Steady repetition is a compulsion mutually reenforced.
Now what does that mean?
Is there a just contradiction?
Nothing much.
Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord, hesitate.

Got to punch
Right on target
Twisting tongues
Gotta stripe down his back
all nine yards down her back

Give me a couple,
Don't give me a couple of pointers,
Turn to lies and conversation fear

Got to punch
Right on target
Twisting tongues
Gotta stripe down his back
all nine yards down her back

Give me a couple,
Don't give me a couple of pointers,
Turn to lies and conversation fear

What is in my mind?
What is in my mind?

Steady repetition is a compulsion mutually reenforced.
Now what does that mean?
Is there a just contradiction?
Nothing much.
Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
If I should die before I wake, oh come on, hesitate, hesitate.

Got to punch
Right on target
Twisting tongues
Gotta stripe down her back
all nine yards down his back

Give me a couple,
Don't give me a couple of pointers,
Turn to lies and conversation fear

Conversation fear. Conversation fear. Conversation fear.

batting 2nd and still in the lineup. WHY THE FUCK ISN'T HERNANDEZ PLAYING?

Johnny Dickshot
Sep 09 2005 08:05 PM

He's playing in the AAA playoffs.

Hmmmm, curious that Cairo is playing.
Does anyone think Seo and Matsui have a Korea/ Japan thing going?

It least he's playing for something down there.

he'll be up, and he will be our future at second.

After we settle what to do with Matsui.

Why he isnt in there, to me, is totally baffling. Its a right handed pitcher, ferChristsake.

On the record, Willie states the obvious:

"We've got to see if we can get something going from the little funk we're in," Mets manager Willie Randolph said. "Obviously we've picked a bad time to go into a little swoon, and it's hurting us."

i'd take Matsui over Cairo at this point, if only based on which one has a contract we're stuck weith for next year. Neither of them has any business batting 2nd though.

Cards up 1-0 on a Pojols ground out in the 1st.

Mets threatening in the 2nd- Diaz and Castro single and are at the corners. 2 out.

I , um, don't at all.

Cairo is playing because Matsui is winning the bulk of the starts but not all of them.

Simplest reason is a safe bet.

How about, you were listening to Murmur and got so engrossed that you mistakenly thought this was the "What Are You Listening to NOW?" thread.

9-9 is today's date, so that would be the reason.

BTW, Happy Birthday wishes to ex-Met Todd Zeile :)

9-9 on 9-9.

Could 1-2-3 go down any easier than they just did for Marquis?

Sep 09 2005 10:38 PM

Seo deserved better. Neither of the first two runs really should have scored. The only mistake he really made was to Walker. Incidentally, did you guys see Castro insisting with that sign he gave him? Whatever that pitch was, Seo didn't want to throw it. In retrospect, he was probably right.

I'm numb. It doesn't even bother me anymore.
