I don't know how to pluralize genius, it may not even be spelled correctly.

I have to show this to MK when he gets back from Fall Ball practice. He loves it when the IGT rosters have silly nicknames.

|
Johnny Dickshot Sep 09 2005 08:05 PM |
He's playing in the AAA playoffs.
|
MFS62 Sep 09 2005 08:17 PM |
Hmmmm, curious that Cairo is playing.

It least he's playing for something down there. he'll be up, and he will be our future at second. After we settle what to do with Matsui. Why he isnt in there, to me, is totally baffling. Its a right handed pitcher, ferChristsake. On the record, Willie states the obvious: "We've got to see if we can get something going from the little funk we're in," Mets manager Willie Randolph said. "Obviously we've picked a bad time to go into a little swoon, and it's hurting us."
|
Nymr83 Sep 09 2005 08:27 PM |
i'd take Matsui over Cairo at this point, if only based on which one has a contract we're stuck weith for next year. Neither of them has any business batting 2nd though.

alls i know is matsui's been doing his job at the plate. In the field?.....ah Cards up 1-0 on a Pojols ground out in the 1st. Mets threatening in the 2nd- Diaz and Castro single and are at the corners. 2 out.
|
Edgy DC Sep 09 2005 08:33 PM |
Does anyone think Seo and Matsui have a Korea/ Japan thing going?

9-9 is today's date, so that would be the reason.

I have to take the time to read..... Castro walked there. Seo stranded them, of course.
|
Edgy DC Sep 09 2005 08:51 PM |
9-9 also just reached with a VERY HANDSOME THROW by Cairo.

The Aflac duck asks "What three Cards have hit .340 or more since Keef did it in 1979?"

Zvon Sep 09 2005 09:07 PM |
|
Pojols one of em?
|
Rockin' Doc Sep 09 2005 09:10 PM |
Yup. Pujols has been on a tear since coming to the majors. He hit over .350 in 2003.
|
Zvon Sep 09 2005 09:14 PM |
Did McGwire ever reach that platue?
|
cooby Sep 09 2005 09:15 PM |
Well, not since 1979 anyway, becaus the third guy was Gregg Jefferies.
|
Rockin' Doc Sep 09 2005 09:16 PM Edited 1 time(s), most recently on Sep 09 2005 09:16 PM |
I would have to say no to McGuire. I don't remember hitting for average as being one of Big Mac's strengths.
|
cooby Sep 09 2005 09:16 PM |
What did Edgy do, ask the question and then run out on you two guys who can't watch without telling you the answer?
|
Rockin' Doc Sep 09 2005 09:18 PM |
The boss man can be so cruel at times.

|
someone should make an armpatch.....hehe
|
Centerfield Sep 09 2005 10:38 PM |
Seo deserved better. Neither of the first two runs really should have scored. The only mistake he really made was to Walker. Incidentally, did you guys see Castro insisting with that sign he gave him? Whatever that pitch was, Seo didn't want to throw it. In retrospect, he was probably right.
|
Nymr83 Sep 09 2005 10:38 PM |
i would have left seo in.

|
Edgy DC Sep 10 2005 12:28 AM |
Seems a lot of the PotG voters are hanging that homer on Castro for dropping whatever "4" was so insistently.
