Piazza, Cameron, Floyd are out. Mientkiewicz has lost most of his job. Looks not unlike past Septembers. Still love it. Still hate it, but still love it.
Johnny Dickshot Sep 13 2005 07:21 PM |
Bogus call!
Edgy DC Sep 13 2005 07:26 PM |
Blast it, I'm blacked out.
Johnny Dickshot Sep 13 2005 07:31 PM |
Reyes walked, barely made it back on a close pickoff attempt, then DID make it back and got called out anyway. Truly, a blown call. WWSB showed a tiny amount of unhappiness with the call, leaving the dugout to write a polite note to the umpire.
Edgy DC Sep 13 2005 07:33 PM |
All those notes are going to pay off, eventually. You'll see.

Holy shit! Glavine drives in Jake Monster for the first run of the game!
Johnny Dickshot Sep 13 2005 07:54 PM |
Dear Mr. Miller,
ScarletKnight41 Sep 13 2005 07:58 PM |
Damn - tied games, with Nats on first and second and no outs :(
Elster88 Sep 13 2005 08:00 PM |
Who's Mr. Miller?
Zvon Sep 13 2005 08:00 PM |
lol @ JD
Elster88 Sep 13 2005 08:02 PM |
Base hit brings home another, but then a soft liner to Jose gets an out.
Zvon Sep 13 2005 08:03 PM |
not any more. 2-1 Nats and only 1 out, and they have runners on the corners
Elster88 Sep 13 2005 08:03 PM |
Very weak grounder in the hole because Reyes was at double play depth. 3-1.
Zvon Sep 13 2005 08:04 PM |
that Wilson guy drives in another.
Johnny Dickshot Sep 13 2005 08:06 PM |
Dicked over by a poor judgement by Jacobs trying to get greedy on the sac attempt, followed by 4 hits and a line drive out.
Elster88 Sep 13 2005 08:07 PM |
GUNNED!!! MEAT!!!!
Zvon Sep 13 2005 08:10 PM |
for the double play. Nice.
Elster88 Sep 13 2005 08:11 PM |
It's always nice when Marlon throws out Marlon.
Elster88 Sep 13 2005 08:13 PM |
I was thinking "There goes the bullpen" when Frannie said that someone was warming. But then I saw Vic Z in the pen. Nice to have a real long man. And I'm not talking about his locker room prowess.
Elster88 Sep 13 2005 08:16 PM |
1 run off the emergency starter through 3. Even if the Mets have a team OPS of 1.500 for the rest of the year I will still say they can't hit. That's how disgusted I am.
Zvon Sep 13 2005 08:18 PM |
lol.
Elster88 Sep 13 2005 08:18 PM |
I've got a six-pack of Sam Adams in the fridge waiting for the right moment. It might be time to get started.
Rotblatt Sep 13 2005 08:20 PM |
Well, Carrasco is a pretty good pitcher. 2.04 ERA, 1.10 WHIP . . . Not to shabby. Hopefully we'll get another crack at him.
Elster88 Sep 13 2005 08:21 PM |
Hmph. I didn't realize. I'm a grouch.

Nice Kaboom, Zvon! Me like.
Elster88 Sep 13 2005 08:26 PM |
That was a no-doubter. Right fielder just turned to watch.
Elster88 Sep 13 2005 08:27 PM |
5 doubles and 4 homers make up 9 of Jacobs' 13 hits.
Zvon Sep 13 2005 08:29 PM |

thanx......for you::::::
Edgy DC Sep 13 2005 08:43 PM |
Are they disrespecting Matsui tonight?
Zvon Sep 13 2005 08:47 PM |
I hope not. He's been hitting like 380 since his return. The fans should actually be extra nice and bow to him.
Elster88 Sep 13 2005 08:48 PM |
A very Ichiro-esque hit for Kaz there. With two strikes, he fouled off the high curve, and you could tell he was following it perfectly. Then he went down for the curve off the shoetops, not fooled at all, and lined it over the third baseman's head.

I missed his announcements and first two at-bats. ____________________________ This post had the designation 156) Pete Harnisch

Ah, Beltran. Just as good as advertised.
Edgy DC Sep 13 2005 08:57 PM |
Um, is he hurt?
Elster88 Sep 13 2005 08:57 PM |
Wright hit on the elbow with a pitch, and the know is already visible seconds later, as is the stitching from the ball.

Yes, let's shut the whole team down.
Zvon Sep 13 2005 09:08 PM |

no way! 5 more doubles and he ties Gilkey's 44 for the Mets season record. 3 more he passes Fonzi and HoJo with 41

Teddy is shocked by the run differential that the Mets have had. He must have been reading this forum.

Edgy DC Sep 13 2005 09:18 PM |
Of all people to have your number, Tom... Christian Guzman?

Holy shit. They have to give Matsui a hit on that.
ScarletKnight41 Sep 13 2005 09:33 PM |
Victor Diaz should be shot.
Edgy DC Sep 13 2005 09:34 PM |
Why should Diaz be shot?
ScarletKnight41 Sep 13 2005 09:35 PM |
For not making it to second on KazMat's single. Unbefreakinlievable!
Edgy DC Sep 13 2005 09:36 PM |
I think that was Jose Offerman.
Zvon Sep 13 2005 09:36 PM |
so that was a basehit thru the middle and the CF thru Offerman out at 2nd?
Johnny Dickshot Sep 13 2005 09:36 PM |
Diaz?
Edgy DC Sep 13 2005 09:37 PM |
It seems like Scarlet is confusing Diaz with Offerman. Which is a shame as I already shot Diaz, taking her word for it that it was the thing to do.
Zvon Sep 13 2005 09:38 PM |
we're past that, he was shot---old news. Howd that play go down? Like it reads? Cuz then Offerman should be shot and then hung, for good measure.
Johnny Dickshot Sep 13 2005 09:41 PM |
This might be the worst game I've ever seen.
KC Sep 13 2005 09:41 PM |
Offerman messed up at first like he thought the ball was in the infield.

I cant think of anything suitable without digging, but Id like them to do it themselves, so.......... D.I.Y. Peter Gabriel D.I.Y., D.I.Y., D.I.Y., D.I.Y. Don’t tell me what I will do, ‘cos I won’t. Don’t tell me to believe in you, ‘cos I don’t. Be on your guard, better hostile and hard, don’t risk affection; Like flesh to the bone in the no-go zone, You’re still looking for the Resurrection. Come up to me with your “What did you say?” And I’ll tell you, straight in the eye: D.I.Y., D.I.Y., (etc.) Everyone wants to be what he not, what he not. Nobody happy with what he got, what he got. You function like a dummy with a new ventriloquist, Do you say nothing yourself? Hanging like a thriller on the final twist, Is it true you’re getting stuck on the shelf? Come up to me with your “What did you say?” And I’ll tell you, straight in the eye: D.I.Y., D.I.Y., (etc.) When things get so big, I don’t trust them at all, You want some control, you’ve got to keep it small. D.I.Y., D.I.Y., (etc.)

LOL, lets not blame the messengers for their lyrics. So Willies sac only puts off the double play. Phils won, and have played fine ball vs Atl. I think that puts them tied with the Asstros for the WC. Shit--------- we should still be in this

i want to see this team .500 or better when its all over. If they dont, Willie fails his 1st test as manager, in my book. Cuz this team should be at least .500.

Ok. At what point does Ashton Kutcher show himself, act like an annoying jerk and announce we've all been punked and that the last two weeks don't count.
