Note about Zvon Met South Park
The Mets shirt and baseball backround was added by me in PaintShopPro.

If anyone wants that shirt or backround, request it here.

To display your character here you will have to take a screenshot and support it at a place like photobucket.

Here's an accurate representation of me last night on the couch with a book, a beer, and an iPod.

This is, I think, an accurate representation.

Choose the shape first, then the color choice is offered.

Thanks Edgy, I did finally figure that out. I had myself all done, but couldn't figure out what to do with it...

Maybe I'll try again tomorrow

I don't understand what the printscreen key does for you. It doesn't do a thing when I press it

Printscreen copies the image of the screen to your clipboard. Then you can paste that image of the entire screen into Paint (or some other imagemaking program) and crop it down to what you actually want.

What's a clipboard?

KC

It's an invisible place where when you copy something that's where it's
stored temporarily. That's also where you cut to and paste from. It's in
your RAM, I guess. You didn't do RAM yet in IT class? ;-)

Sigh. And how do you find this invisible clipboard? Holy heck, we know what RAMs are, they are people born in March

There are about 5 South Park coobys there

if you take a screenshot, it ends up there.
just open any image program, like PaintShopPro or MSpaint even, and get the dropdown list that says paste. Click it. Crop it there, add stuff there, and save to hard drive from there.

heres a good place to get image support.

I had fun with this and am glad some of you have.
:)

I may make an animated me using this webpage. I think I could at least make a .gif where the mouth moves.
(also, when making one use those triangle icons on the bottom it they are there and you will see many more choices)

Oh yeah, once I get past the finding the little South Park girl on my computer, I understand what you folks (get it!!??) are talking about.

I just don't understand how to find the little South Park girl on my computer

I DID study RAM in my IT course. It's the memory that disappears when you shut your computer. It relies on electricity. The more RAM you have, the more smoothly your computer runs.

Freakin' Rutgers is teaching me something!

More importantly, it's the "working" memory - the place where stuff gets
processed. Disappearing memory? I think I have that from time to time.

And yes, lotsa RAM makes a computer rock ... even an older one.

Well, that's why I only got a B+ instead of an A on my latest quiz.

But I am VERY proud of that B+!

Crane Pool is the only place where a South Park thread can devolve into a computer literacy class.

I love you guys!

because the SP character is a FLASH image, you cant do the usual right click on image and copy trick.

I use the screenshot function in PSP(paintShopPro), so it just opens up in PSP. But I do believe if you use the one on your keyboard it should double as a copied selection. If not, look in my documents(hey!not my documents, your documents), or your Windows files for screenshots.

Ill try that and see if i can trace the path.

i cant trace where the image file ends up, but I did hit the screenshot key, hit edit>paste as new image in PSP, and it did display the screenshot.

It should also work that way and open in MS paint. From there, save it to a familiar file for future use.

Processed is a poor choice of words on my part. I should have just stuck
with working memory and left it at that.

I got out of bed watching the football game to type this, I'm obviously not well.
