Done with the MOFO for good.

I just can't take it anymore with the place. It's like that neighborhood in the City that your grandparents bought their first house in after WWII which is now a low rent, crime addled, gang controlled cesspool. The "gang" is all the right wing nut-jobs who have completely co-opted the General Discussion board. The gang leader? Paulie Cee. Holy smokes what an asshole!!! I trust that he is on the "banned" list here, along with most of the rest of the usual suspects? Tried NYFS for awile but I lost my interest there for a few reasons: -The site lost much of it's niche appeal following "Black Friday" -The board is run like a dictatorship (The MOFO's polar extreme) -Although I never personally had a run in with him, I heard too much bad stuff about the guy who runs that place to discount it as all nonsense (too much smoke there. . .gotta be some fire). Now that you guys have changed your interface to one that I like better I see no need to concern myself with either the madhouse or the dictatorship. So I'll hang here and just talk baseball and maybe some post some non-controversial stuff on the general forum. I'll probably get more active during hot-stove time.

No, no, no, no, no-no-no. You have a beef with paul or joe or even ghengis khan, you keep it on the board where the beef resides. Welcome Mex. As KC said, we try not to disparage other forums on this site. We all have opinions regarding other forums or the posters that reside and post on those sites, but we try to keep any negativity out of these pages. The internet is a huge place, there is room for all. We prefer to try to coexist with our baseball brethren at the MOFO and elsewhere. If you don't like a site, just don't post there. Look forward to your input here at the Crane Pool.

There's no one banned here. Trolls come in, get eviscarated by our sharp wit, and a few days later make a farewell speech where they call us "elitists" and "pompous pricks" and stomp off to grimier pastures. If there's any bannanation going on it's purely self-regulated.

For what it's worth, I've always hated Genghis Khan. I think he's a jerk with all that macho raping and pillaging baloney.

Say what you will about Genghis Khan, but not only was a highly-touted prospect coming up through the Mets system, but he also is credited for inspiring the "sideways hat" that's so prevalent today.
