Why Did God Make Mike Pelfrey So Tall?

He felt bad he hadn't given him anything else. Here's hoping he continues to develop or at least gets a pitching coach who might be able to help in that endeavor -- Warthen sucks!

his college coach was on with Kevin Burkhart tonight during the game and was shocked at his lack of velocity.

That was a good interview with his college coach , also talked about how nervous Mike gets when pitching from the stretch . I don't know what Wharton is doing but some of his charges have regressed .

only some? i don't feel like looking up hard data to refute my feelings, but it sure feels like every met pitcher is doing worse with warthen...

I didn't feel like looking at numbers either as I was literally running out the door at the time.
