One of my favorite players ever , love the guy and his first year here was must see TV. How many times over the last few years have we read that he's in" better shape" now?

I am not sure whether or not to like this or dislike this.

Overall, I ended up being more disappointed than overjoyed with Pedro the player during his Mets tenure. However, I think his presence did wonders for the club overall.

I liked young, cocky Pedro, and I liked older, circumspect Pedro. I like his approach to the press, and loved his approach to pitching. I'm happy for him that he has a gorgeous, smart wife, and a gorgeous mangoo spread in the DR. I'm gratified that this hardworking, scrappy dude has lived a storybook sort of life. I will clap like hell when he is elected into the baseball HOF. I will probably tell my unborn son about him. A lot.

Signing with the Phillies was not cool. Wish he'd stayed retired.

I will be really pissed off if he's good for them.

I'm not expecting him to do much in the regular season...but if he can stay healthy enough to make starts in the playoffs, he could be quite the asset.
