I clicked over between ABs of the Met game and he threw at least 5 pitches before the next batter walked to the plate in our game. That game's in the 7th inning and it's just 1:40 old. In his postgame interviews following his perfect game Buehrle said <paraphrase>I don't see any need to walk around the mound between pitches. Pitching isn't that hard. Methinks Wayne needs to take some additional classes in his Met-ucation. Back to topic. Mark is a pitcher, in the finest sense of the word. When I saw the highlights of his perfect game, I don't recall seeing the radar gun top 87 MPH on any of his pitches. I agree with Doc, more pitchers should emulate him.
