I can't stand the smell of maple syrup. It smells like pee. In fact, I think it IS pee.

Tree pee?

Kid pee. Smell a dried diaper some time!

The establishment wants us to THINK it's tree syrup, just like they want us to think the earth is warming up. Very tricky they are.

The Gitmo diet.

Unless you were seriously obese, you wouldn't want to lose five pounds in one week. It's not healthy, and if you lose at that kind of pace the flabby skin would look worse than the fat you took off.

Not true. When I stopped drinking soda a few years ago, I lost seven pounds in one week; I'm no more flabby now than I was then. You couldn't maintain that rate, but you could do it quickly and healthily if you're eating crap.

It sure did - I lost like 12-15 pounds in about 10 days if I recall.

It wasn't even that bad. At first you definitely crave food but after a couple of days of not being hungry (really!) you realize that they are just cravings and become easier to resist.

The oddest thing was not crapping for the last 4-5 days.

We're on the same page. I was talking about maintaining that kind of rate. For one week your body could adjust to pretty much anything.

I gained about 5 back pretty quick, but I kept the rest off for a good while.
