Moving Daze

My long search for a home has finally ended. After more than a year of kicking tires, and a nightmare of dealing with short sales and foreclosures, the DocTees are in a new house. Should you find yourself in the Bay Area/Wine Country, swing by for a dip in a pool of another sort! The good: prices at levels not seen since the early years of this decade The bad: as a state employee, I'll being experiencing furloughs and a 10% reduction in my pay. Unsoliited Advice: avoid short sales and the like as if they were the plague. 120 day escrow periods, and homes being pulled back from under us. Thrice.
