Jerry DiPoto NOT getting the Washington GM job as it turns out. Nationals brass must have liked the way interim GM Mike Rizzo handled the Strasburg negotiations because they've just removed the interim tag and made him permanent just days after rumors started that they had decided not to.

Rizzo did sign Strasburg at a price that wasn't absurd, an deserves quite a bit of credit for that. He's probably already done more for the club than his predecessor.
