Q - If you deep fry a prime rib and don't get kicked off how bad was the person that did get booted A - So bad you might wonder how she got on. French guy that looks like he's from pamplona could be a hoot.....crazy psycho chick from Philly could be too Prime rib Hector I think will actually turn out to be good......zen like guy that won last night is good..... Q - why are all the chicks very dyke like?

Seems like half of them should spend more time in the kitchen and less time at the tattoo parlor, what an ugly bunch this year. And how typecast. Every single chick thought they'd be unique by pretending whiskey was their vice. YAWN. Not to sound like a old white guy but I've often wondered how one gets to the point where they say, "You know what? I think I'll make myself more beautiful by jamming these frisbees into my earlobes and having a third-rate artist make a permanent drawing of a devil on my throat. Yeah, that's the ticket!" I mean, wtf, seriously? Beardy looked like a worthy winner and real contender, he has that odd, faraway look of a prodigy. I don't mind that guy deep-fried the steak, he expressed his reasons for doing it which was better than that sad looking shrimp and peas thing that had no explanation. Anyone stick around for the Masters finale? Now that shit looked good, I felt like driving out to Chicago to eat at Frontera right now.

Yeah I hear you on the tats and ear lobe things.....I didn't stick around for the Masters final but I did watch the episode before top Chef , those three that were left were brillaint... Top Chef I think can take several episodes to find it's groove...the brothers I think will be good in an annoying way....guy from Haiti seems likable ..

Michael is leading contender for this year's jerk, making sexist comments and self-aggrandizing, obnoxious attitude, but he looks like he knows what he's doing. There is also the arrogant little toad who made some good scallops. I definitely like the bearded winner; he's got a quiet confidence that is not at all offputting.

Eli made his move up the douchebag ladder last night. It's him and Mike to the wire on that one! Seems to me so far that Frenchy and Hector probably should lasted at least as long as Cancer Patient and Gay Guy have; but the latter 2 are marked for death sooner than Kevin, the Brothers and Jennifer for sure. Those are my final 4. I've liked the challenges this year. They seem to have cut back some on building them around blatant product placement.

Anyhow, final on at 10 tonight, should be a good match between the Brothers and Kevin. I'd give Kevin the edge going in, but I don't know how it will come out.

This season didn't hold too many surprises. After just two or three weeks it was quite apparent who the top chefs were this season. Jennifer, Michael, Brian, and Kevin were clearly the class of the field. They were virtually never in the bottom facing possible elimination and I believe that between them they won every single weekly challenge. That's domination of the competition. I do think the three strongest chefs are left for the final and it should be a good battle tonight. Any one of them could easily win it tonight, it just comes down to who makes the fewest small mistakes.

I watch this damn show for months then zonk out on the couch 5 minutes into the finale. Not reading msg's till I see.
