It's awkward, but I got it to work. The "Select topic" option doesn't seem to work. You need to know the topic (or thread) number and type it into the edit box. Then you get to choose which posts from the source thread that you want to put into the destination thread. I think the solution I came up with was easier to use, but I haven't got it working yet (at least, I haven't tried it) in phpBB3. This delivered feature does have one advantage; it allows selected posts to be merged while my script takes the entire thread.

It looks like I got the intial post from the other thread over here without deleting the topic it came from. Will your tool still workie with this version of the place?
