Hoverin' by my suitcase, tryin' to find a warm place to spend the night Heavy rain fallin', seems I hear your voice callin' "It's all right." A rainy night in Georgia, a rainy night in Georgia It seems like it's rainin' all over the world I feel like it's rainin' all over the world Neon signs a-flashin', taxi cabs and buses passin' through the night A distant moanin' of a train seems to play a sad refrain to the night {chorus} How many times I wondered It still comes out the same No matter how you look at it or think of it It's life and you just got to play the game I find me a place in a box car, so I take my guitar to pass some time Late at night when it's hard to rest I hold your picture to my chest and I feel fine {chorus} Oh, have you ever been lonely, people? And you feel that it was rainin' all over this man's world You're talking 'bout rainin', rainin', rainin', rainin', rainin', rainin', rainin', rainin', rainin' rainin', rainin', rainin'

No idea. I'm watching the BoSox game to avoid Chris Carlin and Beer Money.

I have the Sox game on too ... I like Beer Money. I don't have the hat for that guy that most of the forum has.

It goes back to that batting practice day at Citi Field. Having that irritating voice screaming at me from the big screen first thing in the morning caused me to hat him where I never thought of him before.

Why not leave him out there......terrible decision if they have plans for the starting rotation. Maybe you are right Ashie.

I dunno it was pretty obvious he didn't have his best stuff today and the way he was pitching suggested he would have thrown over 100 pitches just to get out of the 4th.

PHs Omir for Thole (the better overall hitter)... and it WORKS. Right on, sucka. I'll file this under happy sun-shining-on-dog's-nethers incidences.

Beltran double puts two on with one out, and leaves the boys in blue-n'-gray a triple away from the cycleTM, inning-wise.

Re: IGT--Mets @ Braves, 09/16/09

It's amazing how often the defense has killed games. And it seems like (yeah, I know) not only every error but even every non-play leads to runs. Just last night: - Wright didn't glove one early in the game. It was a hot one but also right at him. Bounced away for a double - Francoeur didn't get a good read on a ball at the wall and it became a double. - Murph's 3-mistake inning in the 9th: failing to snag the opening double even though it was hit into his shift; then he not only muffed the 2-out hopper but misplayed it terribly which essentially caused the error. Then he muffed the recovery. Four plays not made in one inning, one error. In general Murph's been OK defensively at 1st this year. My worries about him as a full-time 1B revolve around his bat, even though it's been better lately.
