IGT--Nationals @ Mets, 09/19/2009

You know, I don't like Lannan. I don't like my team being dominated by mediocre pitchers on very bad teams, and I certainly don't like it when every picture of the guy seems to suggest that he's not quite sure what city he's in. Or whether it's day or night. Beat Lannan, Mets. Either beat him, or acquire him. Your call.

Jerry again plays for 1 run by having Tatis bunt Francoeur to 3d with 0 outs. I guess there was no chance that Tatis single or even hit a ground ball to the right side so Jerry wanted to give up an out.

5 hits for the Nats (so far) 3 haven't left the infield. Then throw in the fact that Green can't reach his 1st baseman from 15 feet away and we're in trouble here despite the Nats having 2 legit hits all game.

[quote="Kong76":2qovsbm7]It really has been dreadful to witness. Thank god for beer.[/quote:2qovsbm7] Thank god that I didn't decide to get cable so that I could watch the Mets (which is the only reason I would have gotten cable).

Took a 90 minute nap and woke up in time to see the last inning. Perfect.
