I got an internship starting two weeks ago working for my Senator on Capitol Hill, so I've been pretty darn busy recently.

Ouch. Tough time to be Sen. Menendez. Good luck anyhow. My city councilman --- who, from my perspective, works his tail off --- just saw his chief of staff get busted for allegedly taking bribes. The guy has been really helpful to my dinner program and the people it serves and I hope he doesn't go down this way.

I love it on the Hill. I love going to work far more than college. Weird, huh? I've been RIDICULOUSLY busy. I'm working from 9-6 Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and going to class from 10-8 on Tuesdays and 10-6 on Thursdays. It's exhausting, but I'm hoping to jump right into a paid job after I graduate in December.
