I'm assuming the Houston starter is a lefty. Why not give Murphy some at bats against the lefty? We should start a "Fire Jerry" Internet petition. I've never known an Internet petition that didn't work.

Leadoff triple followed by three straight Ks ... yeah, no way that's gonna come back to bite us.

FK: Leadoff triple followed by three straight Ks <<< Didn't see that, but one (or people like us) would wonder how often that sequence has happened? Has to be borderline rarely.

sea: I believe that's the first time that's happened since Angel Pagan tripled two days ago, followed immediately by three consecutive David Wright strikeouts <<< Buh dum ching! To me it sounds noteworthy, I'm sure someone will point it out eventually if it was. Oh, and big WHOO HOO to Maine. The game and the last bunch of games.

I meant 3B, K, K, K is in general probably rare. Who knows what I meant, I was consumed by Mafia Wars last night.
