It's lameass to only be apologizing to one subset of ticket holders instead of to everyone who purchased an overpriced ticket to this season's games.

Did they really say this? If so, it's encouraging. (By that I mean, it contradicts all those reports that they were going to "go cheap" this winter. It doesn't guarantee, of course, that the money will be spent wisely.)

I'm probably lameass for buying them, especially the way that they screwed with the Sunday plan. But IMO management should take a little extra care to make the plan holders feel appreciated after the way they screwed with the plans this year.

That's true enough. They should appreciate all of their fans, even the ones who don't ever attend a game, because they may be subscribing to SNY, buying Mets merchandise, and, through whatever fan enthusiasm they may have, spreading the word and creating other Mets fans, who may become ticket buyers, SNY subscribers, and merchandise purchasers.

What blunderbuss? Implicit in the criticism of the dissemination of the message is, presumably, that the message could have been stronger and the outreach more expansive. And if a regular customer has a criticism, the perspective and spirit in which it is offered is as valid as any other regular customer's.
