How do you grade the performances of each of the 2009 Mets, using the A (best) to F (Worst) scale? Please tell us your scoring criteria. What's with the designations in front of certain players? As with my mid-season grades, C= met the expectations I had for the player. Injury time was NOT taken into account, only on-field performance was considered.. All they needed to do was to a) get rid of the bench coach; b) get rid of the 1B coach; c) reassign the 3B coach; and (here's the key), d) tell the manager and GM to "step up or else!"

Upon what I thought each player was capable of whether they were here opening day or later. I did penalize for injury. Most of you are being too kind to Emil Brown. Didn't he overrun someone on the basepaths in his 3 minutes as a Met? A big F.

I was at that game in Washington. Since I was there, I didn't have the benefit of a replay, but I seem to recall that incident being the fault of the lead runner, who either stopped or retreated when he shouldn't have.

I was there, too (we should have met somewhere BG). It was Castillo (of course) who stopped because he wasn't sure if the ball was trapped.
