I wonder what Francisco Rodriguez thinks about Brian Bruney being left off the postseason roster? Also encouraging: Posada pissed off that he has to sit in as many as 2 games so that Gay Jay Burnett gets a personal catcher. One win in NYC is what the Twins need; but if they could steal tonight's opener this series is as good as over.

The Twins have a proud history of jobbing to the Yanquis and I don't expect anything less. (Yeah, I'm a glass-half-empty sorta guy).

My rooting interest, even before last night's game, was to see a World Series between Minnesota and Colorado. And to see early exits from the Yankees and Phillies. So... Go Twins. Go Rockies.

A - they're not the Yankees. B - I lived in Minnesota during the Harmon Killebrew - Camilo Pascual era, and remain a Twins fan. C - The Twins have an ex-Met as manager.
