I'm rooting for a highly-localized earthquake to open up a chasm in the middle of the field. If one of these teams has to win, I'll take the Phillies to block the all-LA World Series. SoCal'ers are insufferable enough as it is.

Fred might be so overjoyed by a Dodge victory that he will be inspired to see his own team reach such heights. The Phillies, though, have really good pulled pork sandwiches. I voted for the Dodgers, pretending that they have a different manager and left fielder.

Phillies fans were bad enough before they won the series, got worse after they won and I can only imagine what will happen if they win again. They must go down hard and soon. All LA series > either the Phillies or the MFYs making it.

I don't know. Dodgers win the uniform contest easily, and I'm really impressed by them producing four good home-grown hitters simultaneously. Not that Phillie hasn't. Broxton is a meathead, but on his worst day, not as big a turd as Brett Myers. And he's far preferable to Eric Gagne, if I had to choose. Edge to the Dodgers.

I think both these teams can beat the MFYs so I'll be happy with any outcome, though I'd prefer LA. As usual I am rooting hardest for a good series that will keep me entertained, it will be a long winter.

Seven games with the Dodgers prevailing.

I find Philadelphia fans to be plenty insufferable. (Especially since I live amongst them.) I thought LA fans were more apathetic. (Is that why they're insufferable?) I'll all for the Dodgers and Angels. Phillies and Yankees must be stopped.

Lakers fans are insufferable. Dodgers fans, not so much. I'm rooting for a Freeway Series, partly because any deviation would be catastrophic.
