I tried to investigate a wedding at Shea. Their events office wouldn't return my calls.

Not returning calls? , maybe that was part of Tony Bernazard's job and they haven't filled it yet. Who better to organize an event that Tony B.

If it's a shirtless wrestling affair, that is.

There will be football at CitiField apparently. The New York Sentinels of the UFL will play one of their three home games (the other two are at Giants Stadium and UConn) there on November 4. No word on whether Shake Shack will be opened for the festivities.

I understand that the way Citi Field is configured for Bar Mitzvahs, you can see only seven of the Ten Commandments clearly.

[quote="soupcan":3glpuih9]Word is that Jeff Wilpon's kid didn't even have it there. Supposedly his was at either the Greenwich YMCA or Boys and Girls Club. Can't remember which but it was one of those.[/quote:3glpuih9]

Just returned from a Citi Field Bar Mitzvah (kid turned 13, not the place). Mrs. Fafif and I were invited by a young man who read my book and mysteriously identifies with me. We accepted not only from gratitude for the nice note he sent but out of curiosity for what it's like to be at the ballpark in mid-November.

Were any Indian Burial sites visible where the bullpens were dug up? Thanks*
