“Danny Uggla’s been a full-time second baseman for the last four years. He’s performed exceptionally well at that position. Although he has the athleticism to play other positions, he’s performed remarkably over these four years at second base and there should be no reason to consider a position change at this time.”

--- Jeff Borris, agent for on-the-block secondbasemen Dan Uggla and his negative 10.1 UZR.

“Because he’s not retired. He was run out of the game.”

--- Jeff Borris again, on why Barry Bonds hasn't filed retirement papers.

Re: Agentspeak

My speak.
Uggla is only considered a second baseman because he wears a glove and stations himself about half way between first and second bases.

Re: Agentspeak

If the Mets were to trade Castillo to L.A. for Juan Pierre would Uggla standing between first and second be an option for Omar?
