This is the jack-o-lantern that D-Dad carved this year - And this is what you'll get if you trick-or-treat at my house -

Nice carving job. At our house, little kids start about 6PM. The older ones later, through about 9PM. Last year we got about 120, but because it will be a Saturday night, we're figuring on about 150. We have a carved pumpkin with a lit candle in it placed so you can see it from the front door, electric one in one of the front windows. If/ when we run out of candy, we shut off the lights. Later

Yikes, Widey you look rough!! I had one of those puffy little Spidermans at my door last night...I admired his outfit and he said "I'm NOT Spiderman! I'm MASON!"

I hope you wore your spikes. Nothing like seeing a muscle-bound spider-enhanced superhero walking down the street with his mother's baby blue umbrella.

We went to the parade in the City , in theory a great idea but the reality was it was OK....got there at 6 which turns out is not early enough to get a good spot, having the baby buggy only made things worse but the alternative was not an option.Down there with a toddler and lots of drunk people makes it hard to enjoy the event. The misses got to see the Jackson Thriller dance troupe so that was cool.....then it pissed rain as we were leaving.....and some asshole had stolen the umbrella....and then to top it all when we got to Astor Place to catch the #6 back to Pelham Bay there is a sign saying that there is no uptown service at this station.....so we had to go downtown to the Brooklyn Bridge stop and cross over and take the uptown train from there..... We stopped in to Johnny Rockets for some burgers Lots of Billy Mays , several Waynes World , a whole lot of very cute Asian girls not a good night for pix though as a soft rain was falling over us all night...

This is the only picture I was able to get of my little guy wearing a cow costume. He HATED it and yelled at me the whole time. When I pointed the camera at him, however, he was all smiles. Weird kid.

She's an amalgam of Ace and Gene. We'll call her Gace. Oh, and I'm sorry. She's hot.
