A heartfelt thank you to all those that have selflessly given of themselves and served to protect the many freedoms we enjoy in this great nation. My prayers go out to all the men and women currently serving in the armed forces.

And to dozens of others who escape my knowledge but not my appreciation. I salute you. I'll also thank my Jack Lockwood, the father-in law I've never met, who lied about his age when he enlisted as a teenager (at 15, I think), served in the World War II Navy, and never fully stopped having nightmares.
