Happy Unger Day

On November 13, Felix Unger was asked to remove himself from his place of residence. That request came from his wife. Deep down, he knew she was right, but he also knew that someday, he would return to her. With nowhere else to go, he appeared at the home of his childhood friend, Oscar Madison. Sometime earlier, Madison's wife had thrown him out, requesting that he never return. Can two divorced men share an apartment without driving each other crazy?

There's not a November 13 that I don't think of The Odd Couple. I see I'm not alone in that!

I was remembering an old sig line from Oskcar. On November 13th, Felix Unger was asked to remove himself from his place of residence. That request came from a guy with hairy forearms handing him a skillet.

Tonight at 11:00 PIX will have a marathon of 11 Odd Couple episodes. I met Klugman a couple of years ago when he appeared in The Sunshine Boys in New Brunswick. He's still bringing it after all these years :)

I forgot and fell asleep early. I woke up at four disappointed at the lack of length of the marathon. (I have the whole first season on dvd and rumor has it the second is coming this holiday season)
