A poll poll

Us mortals (meaning non-Mods ... or at least me) seem to have access to the the create a post feature in the Film forum (plus here in the bitch-a-thon forum) but not in the baseball forum (I haven't checked the others yet). Is this an intentional set-up or just a quirk yet to be worked out (or am I missing something)? Also, did I use too many parentheses (in this post I mean)?

OK, I'll try again; Is this lack of polling ability in the baseball forum an intentional feature, or some quirk that needs to be fixed, or just something I'm missing?

Me neither. I tried fixing the permissions, but it didn't stick.
