Piazza, Franco, and Berra. (Is this the Italian-American ballot?) Olerud was wonderful, but he wasn't here long enough.

Franco, Piazza, Swoboda. Met fans will act like Olerud were here for 12 years and led them to a World Series but he wasn't and he didn't. Yogi wasn't a very good manager.

Franco, Ordonez, Piazza, Swoboda. The others would be a fine foursome, too. Rey remains this franchise's greatest glove in my judgment. Swoboda's way overdue.

Piazza was an easy yes for me, but I had to think a while before giving Franco an affirmative vote.
