hmmm...I always pictured him landing in Milwaukee. I hope he is as good for the Phils as he was for us.

I kinda like the idea of Schneid as a part-time defensive guy. Lefty hitting catchers are nice to have around. But, man. Did he stink up the joint around here for two years or what?

Northampton High School. Team nickname...Konkrete Kids, a tribute to the once thriving concrete industry in the area. I think their mascot is some hooligan teenager that will punch you in the teeth.

The Rays in the meantime have rtraded a PTBNL for Kelly Shoppach of the Injuns. He'd been lusted after by Mets fans for some time.

I am hoping a 2010 Mets catching platoon of Santos/Coste is an impossibility....

Low average aside, the guy provides a ton of offensive value at C. And his price, compared to Molina (or even a guy like Zaun)? It's like a $20, brand-new/not stolen 40" LCD flatscreen. You may not need a TV, but it's SO cheap. AND WE STILL NEED A TV!
