I've worked on Christmas Eves in the past, and though it can be fun, today I am having my dream Christmas Eve... Slept til 10 Eating cookies and coffee for breakfast Sorting a jigsaw puzzle to put together Hugging my kitties Fire in the fireplace Daughter out doing my errands Marnie is helping me change the bed Have just a few more little things to wrap Going to church later with my mom, bringing her home for supper, going to church again tonight Only bad part is the plumber is coming and of course he's already late.

Hook him up with a gift. Working Christmas Eve isn't a picnic and he's probably busted his ass the last two weeks repairing frozen pipes and trying to make his nut so he can pay for the Suzy Wets-a-Lot under the tree.

Went to the Danbury Mall this morning for some last minute things. There are very few vacant stores, I think that will change come Jan and Feb. Lotsa people walking around not carrying any- thing -- what ever is pushing the stock market to the 2009 highs should go walk around the Danbury Mall.

Tonight we go out for Italian with a table of 18 ... 4th or 5th year in a row now in what's become a nice tradition. Zuppa di pesce ... all you want!

Re: Christmas Eve

If the plumber is not done within the next half hour, I will be going to the first church service with very filthy hair...

Re: Christmas Eve

Lol... But that's not all; the plumber's apprentice hurt his neck looking for the shut off valve and they had to go to the ER. That put them behind a bit too. But I can hardly worry about my hair when the poor kid is hurt, right?

Re: Christmas Eve

Where the heck is your shutoff valve? Don't you have trusted area folk who will let you wash your hair at their place?

Re: Christmas Eve

I was just getting ready to go to my mom's for a shower when he started packing up. All clean now. Except they forgot to turn the cold water intake back on and it was a VERY hot shower, whew! :)

But since I can't be there, the best of everything to you and yours, big guy. (freeze the leftovers for me) Later
