Feel free to share. I have vowed to run ten 5k races in 2010 and also to lose 10 lbs.

Re: New Years Resolutions 2010

My plan is to be a better friend. I'm all over the place, all the time; and thanks to Facebook and Twitter, I'm connecting and reconnecting with people all over as well. I'd like to connect personally, really spend some time with people. Life's too short, you know?

I want to learn to cook, particularly with a grill.

I resolve to learn to skate. Roller first, then ice. I promised my wife that next winter we'd skate at the Bryant Park rink.

Re: New Years Resolutions 2010

I will not throw the remote through the TV when Jose Reyes gets injured during a spring training game. At least not immediately. I will pay more attention to my diet after all the holiday food and sweets. I will not buy a Jason Bay shirt if he chooses number 44. In my heart, 44 will always be Jay Payton's number. I promise to laugh and point the next time Steve Phillips is seen in public. I will buy tickets to a Mets game this year. Not as many as in the past, but I'm still a sucker. I will learn to love StubHub. Less smoking. Of course, I say that every year. I will finally stop re-transmitting the pictures, descriptions and accounts of the game without the written consent of Sterling Enterprises. And I will be grateful for this little pond of misanthropy, masochism and self-flagellation called the Crane Pool. Later

Re: New Years Resolutions 2010

I resolve to stop eating, drinking, wasting time online come Monday morning because, well, I gotta go back to work. I've only made one resolution my whole life that stuck .... quitting smoking, those of you who still do stop NOW!!! and congratulations to a couple of you are doing so well with it.

Resolutions

Post 'em if you got 'em. Mine: 1. Exercise. 2. Eat healthy. 3. Read more classics. 4. Watch more classics. I think I've seen only like 40 of the AFI top 100 movies list. Not acceptable. 5. Goof off less on the internet.

Re: Resolutions

1. Maintain the weight that I worked so hard to achieve; 2. Run the New York City Marathon.

Friends were over, drinks were flowing...only my non-smoking bet kept me in line. If any of you get a text or email from me at 1 a.m. or later asking to borrow $500, your answer to me should be NO.

I'm with Wolfie. I'm going to be less of a hermit, and actually get out and see my friends.
