They should give his back pay to the orphans.

Told him not to get on the chopper, the stupid tree-worshipper.

Re: Memories of Jonathan Tuttle

M*A*S*H shows up intermittently on Hallmark, TV Land and ion, a network I'm assuming nobody's ever noticed but it's between Channels 2 and 4 on Cablevision Long Island, somehow. For the uninitiated, Tuttle was Hawkeye's imaginary friend whom he turned into Captain Jonathan Tuttle for the purpose of funneling army pay to the local orphanage. Word got out on Tuttle's generosity and suddenly there was much interest in this heretofore unknown officer. Instead of admitting they had never heard of Captain Tuttle, various 4077ers insisted they were very close to him. I found myself wanting to start a Memories of Josh Fogg thread but figured since he's only an imaginary Met to this point, I veered to Tuttle...with whom I had dinner last night.

[quote="John Cougar Lunchbucket":bf3flnsc]Is that show even on a rerun channel somewhere anymore?[/quote:bf3flnsc] When my son was newborn and I was up late for midnight feedings et al, I got the first four seasons on DVD from the library. The best part is that on the DVD you can select to watch the show without the laughtrack.
