IGT, 3/2, Mmmm.... Grapefruit

Listen, there's a game today. Mets and Braves will clash and the heavens will resound. I can't find a lineup yet, but I'll bet a couple of Cranebucks that Billy Wagner did not make the trip to Port St. Lucie.

("No veterans like to take bus trips in Florida".) The starting lineup includes Ike Davis at first base and Chris Coste behind the dish, catching Figgy. I heard it in my car, so couldn't write down the rest of the lineup. Later

I prefer when they wear their MLBN warmup suits over when they take off their suit jackets and field ground balls in ties. It's a little too Fox on NFL. I don't really understand suits and ties for baseball (or anything, I suppose). Sartorial tangent aside, MLBN is an asset, particularly when they have something to cover or talking about. Watching Jimmy Rollins or Tim Lincecum on a pretend field displaying fundamentals while Barry Larkin, Harold Reynolds and Al Leiter cluck approvingly -- not my favorite part.
