I thought we* invented the term. Has it caught on?

I've heard it mentioned for a while now, so it's caught on. No idea where it originated. It's credited to baseball prospectus in Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Left-handed_specialist

Gun to my head I would have said Vic Sage coined the term.

Me, I'd give the credit to whoever was holding the gun to my head.

You may have heard the term here first but I'm virtually positive that it's not a CPF-coined term.

Yeah, it wasn't here, though I'll cop to being an early adopter of the phrase.

I am fairly sure it was a Baseball Prospectus coinage. (Can't seem to find the exact sourcing.)

loogy
Loogy is a term for a left handed specialist relief pitcher in baseball. It comes from Left Only One Out Guy.
Hafner is coming up so they'll get their loogy ready

Comes up in the Urban dictionary but alas, no derivation
