Still Alive! (2010 edition)

I saw Frank Lautenberg's name in a stoery today (the story was about Menendez, not him) and it made me realize, "hey this guy is still in the senate!" His name seems to never come up in the news, despite being a senator from a large neighboring state I could probably have named 50 or 60 senators before I even thought of him. Wake up buddy, theres news to be made!

(merge this if the thread exists already, i could not find it)

Ronnie James Dio is NOT dead.

Not doing good but not dead....the internet is rampant with rumors of his death......

His wife
"I am at the hospital and Ronnie has NOT passed away!!!! He is not doing good, but he is not dead. I will let you know if anything changes. Thank you for your concern."

Author Beverly Cleary, whose books I used to read in elementary school, but who I hadn't thought about in years, is still alive and 94 years old.

Cool.

If you're ever in Portland, Oregon, you can go see Klickitat Street, where Henry, Beezus, Ramona, etc. lived. It's a real street; I think Beverly Cleary lives somewhere in the general area. Somewhere on Klickitat, there's a sculpture garden with many of her characters.

My alumni magazine retracted a "deaths" notice from the last edition. Apparently the guy, 98 years old, is still kicking. My guess is he'll be in an upcoming edition, too!

So is Leonardo DiCaprio, despite his featured role in the Dead Thread.

He's going to be the best patient out of all sick ex-presidents.
