Re: Battle of the Law & Order Superbabes

There's a lot of talent in this group.

I'll stand by my pick. Hennessy may not be the most physically gifted, granted. But she just seems like the sort of person who accompanies you to the work dinner party, charms the pants off of your boss, your boss' spouse, and the waitstaff, is nice to the kids but takes no guff, then slips you a note saying she's not wearing underpants.

A little part of me dies inside passing on Hargitay, though, with whom I would love to trade goulash recipes.

Nielsen's a guest star, you forum-shopper.

Lowell wasn't bad here, but she was maybe a bottom-five Bond girl.

Merkerson, I'd call in a heartbeat if I needed help moving.

Merkerson had better bring a few brown bags with here , one to cover your head and one for hers in case your falls off in the pushing and the shoving .

I live under a rock, I've never seen more than ten minutes of
a Law and Order episode. I like Alana's eyes in the pictures
provided so I took her.

Nielsen wasn't a guest star. As I mentioned in the other thread, she was a regular for about half a season while the actress she replaced was on maternity leave.
Close enough to a "regular' for me.
If I can't have her, I'd settle for Elizabeth Rohm.

And if you don't like me voting for a semi-regular, I'll sic Nicolle Wallace/ Olivia D'Abo after you.

I went with De La Garza. She can stroke my habeas until it's corpas.

Having said that, I would take S. Epatha and hold her by the ears, drill her sideways in her a posteriori and make her call me Jerry Orbach.

Rohm easily. I'm shocked there are no votes for Harmon but 3 for De La Garza... I don't even think she's Top 3 here.

Angie Harmon has that freakishly-thin thing that really doesn't work for her, but I agree on De La Garza. Benson's my vote.

It was a toss up between Angie and Mariska - there's just something about Mariska, and her lineage sure doesn't hurt...

"H" is the only option I've never seen or heard of. I went with her in hopes that she's the one chick on the list that doesn't have a deeper voice than me or would beat me in arm-wrestling.

When I hear Harmon I think of Jason Sehorn and that pretty much ends it

Stephanie March, hands down.

She married Bobby Flay, and went to the same Texas HS as Angie Harmon.

A lot of pretty ladies here, and one really homely one, (Erbe), but I ended up voting for Elizabeth Rohm. I always thought she was really pretty, but just shy of knockout, so I really liked her for that.

LWFS argues so convincingly for Hennessy. I dig Benson too, but she's rather severe. No love for the Irish chick at the bottom? (I forgot the blonde that the Doc nominates she's fine too in that tiger-cat/librarian way).

Rohm if you want to.

Re: Battle of the Law & Order Superbabes

Now, if I'm starting a volleyball team, or a squad of foxy bounty hunters, Stephanie March is my gal.

But associations like this don't win her extra points.

Honestly, if you ran this competition 100 times-- and those are simulations I'd love to experience-- Hennessy wins something like 45 times, Rohm 40, and Hargitay 15. It's close.

But yeah, Hennessy just seems to me-- in real-life, too-- about halfway between future-Supreme-Court-candidate and biker-chick. Cleans up nice, but dirties even nicer*. And that's some appetizing split.

Re: Battle of the Law & Order Superbabes

I never watched a full episode of this show except for the one where my brother's apartment guest starred. I occasionally flagged past the edition where Vincent D'Onofrio always looked like the whole world made him want to puke. Do you mean to tell me that the only sister any of these iterations featured was the chunky older one?
