Yikes...Pelfrey's on the hill tonight. 0-3 with an ERA just under 8. We're behind the plate in section 103. I'm nattily dressed in my FFF.com t.

Metzkoviches down 1-0 after three on an unearned run, scoirng in part due to a Wright error. Maybe Manuel just wanted one more start for the Pelf.

75 pitches for Pelf through 6 innings and only 19 balls. He looks pretty good tonight and seems to be working more quickly than last year.

Bay has two hits, the rest of the team zero. Meija gave up 2 runs, none earned. We're losing 4-0

No sooner did I type that did Jacobs lean into one and it's 4-2. These homer happy Mets are never out of it. Woo.

Got the mlb.com gametracker thingy. Tatis flew out with the tying runs on to lose it 4-2. I meanwhile was watching the Cards-Twins from new Target Field on TV.

Mejia was done in by a Tatis error in the top of the 8th and a bloop. A few nice "let's go mets" chants and Tatis' ball was caught by the LFer, ass against the wall and extended. Very exciting conclusion to the game.

Just heard on SNY that Jerry has Jacobs slated to hit cleanup between Wright and Bay, no pressure then.
